Meet Amy & Joe….I am so excited about being their Dallas wedding photographer this fall at the Milestone in Denton. Its a short drive outside of Dallas and a super cute wedding venue. We did most of our corresponding by phone and email since they live in New York, so the engagement session was my first time to meet and photograph this sweet engaged couple.  Amy and Joe’s sweet engagement session started at the Shops at Legacy in Plano Texas. We talked about things they love to do together…..cupcakes, baseball and enjoy each other’s company….home run, I am down for that for sure! There was a great cupcake shop at the shops with amazing light and we took full advantage of that and some sweet treats too. We made our way over to the Arbor Hills Nature preserve and they did a quick change into their AWESOME Save the Date jerseys. New York Mets and New York Yankees may not hug and kiss like that in real life, but don’t these jerseys look awesome?! We lucked out with amazing weather and awesome blue skies for the session. We wrapped the session with one more outfit change and pulled in more nature from the preserve. The evergreens looked great with their outfits. I could photograph at Arbor Hills for days and never hit the same spot. Its a giant nature preserve. I love how it has such a great variety and it was perfect for Amy & Joe’s session.

I am honored to be photographing your wedding in just a few short months and greatly looking forward to it….see you guys soon!

Patrice & Willie’s Stoneleigh Hotel Dallas Wedding

I just love photographing sweet Texas weddings at the historic Stoneleigh Hotel in Dallas and how eclectic the location is. Margaret and her wedding planning team with Precious Creations outdid themselves with this afternoon wedding. There were so many beautiful, personalized & meaningful details throughout. And the weather….we really lucked out on this July day in Texas for photography with temps below 100 degrees. It was a magical wedding day and so beautiful to photograph.

I met Willie and Patrice during the planning stages of their wedding at the Stoneleigh. We talked about their wedding photography and what they envisioned for the day. They sat across from me and shared such sweet words and I was able to see how special their relationship was. I was excited to work with them and watch their love unfold in front of my camera. I kept referring to Willie as a big teddy bear. He’s a total softy and truly in love with this gorgeous stunner, Patrice. Such a sincere sweet man. Patrice was giddy all day and excited to marry the love of her life. They had a heart-felt afternoon wedding ceremony complete with a sand ceremony to symbolize the joining of their families. There was gorgeous sparkles everywhere, from their wedding bands to bridesmaid’s shoes to the beautiful broach in Patrice’s wedding bouquet. The flower girls were wearing adorable in angel wings. Everyone made me feel so warm and welcome. It was a beautiful afternoon wedding and I was honored to have been there to document it. Thank you both for choosing me to photograph your wedding and I wish you many years of love and laughter. May each day be better than the last!

Nicole’s Adolphus Bridal Portraits

As a wedding photographer in the South….Dallas, Texas, we photograph a lot of bridal portraits. The pre-wedding portraits, also known as Bridal Portraits with just the Bride in her dress. Get ready to feast your eyes on some gorgeous bridal photography. Nicole was wearing a Vera Wang wedding gown when I walked into her hotel room at the amazing historic Adolphus Hotel in Dallas, Texas. She had her custom blue Louboutin’s that she designed laying on the bed. She was stunning. Her mom was looking on so proud and joyful as she watched her little girl pose and smile for my camera as a BRIDE!! It was my first time to meet her as we booked her wedding photography over the phone and email with the ever-so-fabulous wedding planner, Rachel with Rachel Derman Events. We started the photography session in the hotel room and made our way downstairs to some of the most beautiful rooms your eyes can see in the downtown Dallas area. The French Room at the hotel is not only known for having some of the tastiest food in Dallas….even Texas, but also some amazing eye candy. We also were there for the tail end of afternoon tea so it was only fitting to take a sip and savor the tradition.
